The workshop teaches students how to use an expert-level, problem-solving process, options analysis, end-to-end test-taking strategies, time- and stress-management techniques. The workshop also includes five 8-hour performance assessments with troubleshooting and configurations sections each, which are graded and returned with interactive Mentor Guide feedback. Performance assessments are delivered on IOS on Linux (IOL) platform. Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
Perform expert-level tasks involving both configuring and troubleshooting WAN and switched Ethernet networks
Perform expert-level tasks involving both configuring and troubleshooting RIP version 2, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting route redistribution
Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) Layer 3 Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting IP multicast
Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting IP version 6 unicast and multicast connectivity
